Paul Francois Blanchard Lyon 1889

One of the most prolific French makers of the 19th century, Paul Blanchard made roughly 1,200 instruments in his lifetime  He then worked for Jean Baptiste Vuillaume in Paris before settling in Lyon around 1875, where he became official luthier to the Lyon Conservatoire. This rare Cello is made in 1889 in Lyon.
